What brand, model, style, version of this product or that product should I buy? My budget is limited, so I want the best item my money can buy? I know! I'll just Google it. Surely, someone will give me a simple answer so I can get to spending.
Hmmm. No listing is exactly helping me. In fact, every best product listing is full of poor information and/or paid product placement with no one telling me exactly why I should choose one particular brand/model over another. Darn, there is no rhyme or reason to these listings and most of them are outdated.
OK, I have a friend who knows about this type of thing so I will call them.
"(Ring...Ring...) Hello? Hey wassup, friend?"
"Wassupppppppp?"
"I have to buy a _____. Can you help me figure out what brand I should buy since you are good at this stuff? I only have $_____. "
"No problem. You say you need a _____? Ummm, you know what? I just saw a great ____ in the paper yesterday. It's a name brand, excellent quality. Just go to store XYZ. They have them on sell half-price until Saturday. It's the best ____ out there right now?"
"Really?"
"Yep, bye!"
"Thanks, bye."
(Three hours later.)
Wow, I love my new _____. I can't believe the quality and features at such a bargain price. I am so lucky to have a friend who knows about these things. Man, I thought Google was supposed to be so great. But it seems like everytime I Google "best _____", all I get is lousy information and fly-by-night stores trying to sell me stuff. Sometimes, Google is useless!
(The End)
